60 g Slivered Almonds
200 g Oat Bran (or regular oats)
100 g Pecans or walnuts, roughly chopped
200 g Oat Bran (or regular oats)
100 g Pecans or walnuts, roughly chopped
50g hazlenuts roughly chopped
100g Mixed Seeds - pumpkin, sunflower, sesame, etc
2 tbsp Chia Seeds
3 tbsp Milled Flaxseed (I use the one mixed with almonds, brazil nuts, walnuts and Q10)
100g Mixed Seeds - pumpkin, sunflower, sesame, etc
2 tbsp Chia Seeds
3 tbsp Milled Flaxseed (I use the one mixed with almonds, brazil nuts, walnuts and Q10)
2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
4 tbsp Honey (c 70g)
100g Almond Butter (or peanut)
4 tbsp Honey (c 70g)
100g Almond Butter (or peanut)
(optional) 25g Coconut Oil or other low-taste oil - if you increase this, can decrease PB. Orig recipe was 100g veg oil, 25g PB.
- Heat the oven to 160°C fan.
- In a large bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients (everything except the coconut oil, honey and almond butter) along with a pinch of salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the coconut oil, honey and almond butter until combined (I blast for 60s in microwave to help peanut butter mix)
- Stir the wet ingredients through the dry mixture until everything is coated. (I use stand mixer)
- Spread the granola mix out onto a lined tray, in a single flat layer.
- Bake for 20 mins, checking halfway and mixing up a bit.
- Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight jar for up to a few weeks.
(based on Zoe granola with more oats, more seeds and nuts, less oil, more peanut butter)
