Overnight steel-cut oatmeal in slowcooker
- 1.5 cups steel cut oats
- 6 cups milk
- 1/3 cup maple syrup / honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- Optional - 2 large mashed bananas, 3 tbsp flaxseed meal,
Oil the slowcooker
Cook on low for 8 hrs. Stir to combine.
Toppings: nut butter, walnuts, raisins, maple syrup etc etc
Keep in fridge, reheat w milk.
